Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Canyon by Yehiel Shemi for EUR 7,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Yehiel Shemi have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2008 by the work Complex at USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,980.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Canyon von Yehiel Shemi für EUR 7.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yehiel Shemi wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2008 die Arbeit Complex mit USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.980,53).
