Auction result misses estimated price range
In February last year a collector was able to acquire the work Flowers in jar and fruits by Yee Bon for HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,871.60). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art Online at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yee Bon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 5,180,000.00 (€ 511,801.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Flowers in jar and fruits von Yee Bon für HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.871,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yee Bon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.180.000,00 (€ 511.801,17).
