This artwork by Ye Gongchuo achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Bamboo And Calligraphy sold for HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,657.39) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ye Gongchuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,000,000.00 (€ 236,071.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ye Gongchuo erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Bamboo And Calligraphy für HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.657,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ye Gongchuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.000.000,00 (€ 236.071,59).
