Airyland II focuses on the layering of space. The rock formations are hidden behind the fog enshrouding the island... The work is divided into three panels to record remote sensing image highlighting the notion of time. Through this I seek to establish the relationship between the spatial and temporal dimensions.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Airyland II by Yau Wing Fung. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,616.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Yau Wing Fung have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2020 the work Floating Mountain VII was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,667.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Airyland II von Yau Wing Fung zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.616,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Yau Wing Fung konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2020 die Arbeit Floating Mountain VII für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.667,35) versteigert.
