A top price for Yasuhiro Sakurai
This work without title by Yasuhiro Sakurai was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2009. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,849.07), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Yasuhiro Sakurai that we have observed at auctions so far.
