Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swim by Yasuhiro Sakurai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 2,844.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 24,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasuhiro Sakurai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2009 for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,849.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Swim von Yasuhiro Sakurai kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 2.844,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 24.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasuhiro Sakurai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2009 für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.849,07) versteigert wurde.
