In December 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale), which included the work Hidden House by Yasuhiro Sakurai. The result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,633.95) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Yasuhiro Sakurai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2009 the work without title was auctioned for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,849.07).

Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hidden House von Yasuhiro Sakurai zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.633,95) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yasuhiro Sakurai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2009 die Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.849,07) versteigert.
