Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Regular Script Calligraphy by Yao Yuanzhi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 35,400 (€ 3,896) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 30,000 - 50,000. Admittedly, works by Yao Yuanzhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 225,000 (€ 19,553).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Regular Script Calligraphy von Yao Yuanzhi wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400 (€ 3.896) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000 – 50.000 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yao Yuanzhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000 (€ 19.553).
