In May 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Yao Wenxie. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 17,250.00 (€ 1,710.66), 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yao Wenxie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 70,106.56).

Im Mai 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Yao Wenxie zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 17.250,00 (€ 1.710,66) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yao Wenxie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 70.106,56).
