Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Rêver by Yannis Kottis. The price achieved of EUR 11,475.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yannis Kottis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Blue Bicycle in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,635.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rêver von Yannis Kottis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.475,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yannis Kottis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Blue Bicycle im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.635,25).
