Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Renard blanc by Yannis Kottis was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. The price achieved of EUR 11,520.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yannis Kottis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Blue Bicycle in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,635.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Renard blanc von Yannis Kottis kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.520,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yannis Kottis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Blue Bicycle im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.635,25).
