Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Fruits d'été by Yannis Kottis. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,562.50. Admittedly, works by Yannis Kottis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Blue Bicycle in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,635.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fruits d'été von Yannis Kottis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.562,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yannis Kottis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Blue Bicycle im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.635,25).
