Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Seven Character Couplet In Seal Script by Yang Yisun. The price achieved of HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,558.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Yisun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verses in Seal Script Calligraphy in December this year with an auction result of HKD 907,200.00 (€ 104,973.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven Character Couplet In Seal Script von Yang Yisun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.558,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Yisun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verses in Seal Script Calligraphy im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 907.200,00 (€ 104.973,42).
