Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Calligraphy In Running-Script by Yang Yisun was worth HKD 57,600.00 (€ 6,407.20) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Yisun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verses in Seal Script Calligraphy in December this year with an auction result of HKD 907,200.00 (€ 104,973.42).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running-Script von Yang Yisun war einem Käufer im Oktober 2021 HKD 57.600,00 (€ 6.407,20) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Yisun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verses in Seal Script Calligraphy im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 907.200,00 (€ 104.973,42).
