Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script by Yang Yisun was sold in the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,091.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Yisun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verses in Seal Script Calligraphy in December this year with an auction result of HKD 907,200.00 (€ 104,973.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script von Yang Yisun wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.091,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Yisun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verses in Seal Script Calligraphy im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 907.200,00 (€ 104.973,42).
