This artwork by Yang Yisun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphic Couplet in Seal Script sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,447.69) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Yisun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Verses in Seal Script Calligraphy in December this year with an auction result of HKD 907,200.00 (€ 104,973.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Yisun erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Seal Script für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.447,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Yisun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Verses in Seal Script Calligraphy im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 907.200,00 (€ 104.973,42).
