Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape in Spring by Yang Mingyi was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,370.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Mingyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village By The River in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 575,000.00 (€ 54,564.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape in Spring von Yang Mingyi wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.370,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Mingyi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Village By The River im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 575.000,00 (€ 54.564,51).
