Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2020 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Severed Mouth Kitty(Executed In 2013) by Yang Mao-Lin. The price achieved of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 2,805.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Mao-Lin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Behaviour of Game - Fighting Chapter in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 524,000.00 (€ 54,437.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2020 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Severed Mouth Kitty(Executed In 2013) von Yang Mao-Lin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 2.805,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Mao-Lin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Behaviour of Game - Fighting Chapter im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 524.000,00 (€ 54.437,71).
