Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Great Escorting Devil Vidyaraja by Yang Mao-Lin was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,881.92). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Mao-Lin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Behaviour of Game - Fighting Chapter, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 524,000.00 (€ 54,437.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Great Escorting Devil Vidyaraja von Yang Mao-Lin wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.881,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Mao-Lin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Behaviour of Game - Fighting Chapter beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 524.000,00 (€ 54.437,71) versteigert wurde.
