Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Pine And Southern Mountains by Yan Shengsun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 93,750.00 (€ 11,450.25), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Yan Shengsun have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 156,000.00 (€ 16,245.53) in May 2005 for the work Phoenix.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine And Southern Mountains von Yan Shengsun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 11.450,25) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Yan Shengsun haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 156.000,00 (€ 16.245,53) im Mai 2005 für die Arbeit Phoenix beobachtet.
