Upper estimate price exceeded by 72 %.
The work Self Portrait by Yan Pei-Ming was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 13,750.00 (€ 1,619.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Pei-Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pape in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,026,850.00 (€ 1,297,972.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Self Portrait von Yan Pei-Ming kam im April 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 13.750,00 (€ 1.619,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Pei-Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pape im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.026.850,00 (€ 1.297.972,83).
