The work Paysage International - 1997 by Yan Pei-Ming was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 34,112.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Pei-Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pape in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,026,850.00 (€ 1,297,972.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 36 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage International - 1997 von Yan Pei-Ming wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 34.112,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Pei-Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pape im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.026.850,00 (€ 1.297.972,83).
