Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work by Tsuruko Yamazaki was sold in the Brushwork III – Abstract Masters auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,108.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsuruko Yamazaki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 234,380.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Work von Tsuruko Yamazaki wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Brushwork III – Abstract Masters bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.108,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsuruko Yamazaki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 234.380,26).
