Upper estimate price exceeded by 88 %.
This artwork by Tsuruko Yamazaki achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work without title sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,651.89) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsuruko Yamazaki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 234,380.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tsuruko Yamazaki erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.651,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsuruko Yamazaki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 234.380,26).
