Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2007 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Yellow Dream by Yaghoub Emdadian. The »bidding war« ended at USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,070.29), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yaghoub Emdadian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In the Moonlight, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 49,000.00 (€ 33,867.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2007 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yellow Dream von Yaghoub Emdadian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 9.070,29) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yaghoub Emdadian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In the Moonlight beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für USD 49.000,00 (€ 33.867,85) versteigert wurde.
