Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Yaghoub Emdadian was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,741.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Yaghoub Emdadian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work In the Moonlight was auctioned for USD 49,000.00 (€ 33,867.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yaghoub Emdadian wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.741,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Yaghoub Emdadian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2007 die Arbeit In the Moonlight für USD 49.000,00 (€ 33.867,85) versteigert.
