Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xue Song achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the No Regrets: Modern and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Red Sun sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,578.24) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xue Song achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xue Song erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion No Regrets: Modern and Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Red Sun für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.578,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xue Song erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24).
