Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Sounds Of Youth by Xue Liang. The price achieved of CNY 271,400.00 (€ 39,247.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xue Liang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moonset And The Raven’S Cry in September 2013 with an auction result of CNY 1,652,000.00 (€ 199,436.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sounds Of Youth von Xue Liang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 271.400,00 (€ 39.247,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xue Liang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moonset And The Raven’S Cry im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.652.000,00 (€ 199.436,13).
