Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Autumn Infused Canyon by Xue Liang. The price achieved of CNY 448,400.00 (€ 63,756.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 380,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xue Liang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moonset And The Raven’S Cry, which sold at auction in September 2013 for CNY 1,652,000.00 (€ 199,436.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Infused Canyon von Xue Liang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 448.400,00 (€ 63.756,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 380.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xue Liang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moonset And The Raven’S Cry beobachtet, die im September 2013 für CNY 1.652.000,00 (€ 199.436,13) versteigert wurde.
