Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ink Bamboo by Xu Zonghao was sold in the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III auction at POLY in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 3,600.00 (€ 422.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Zonghao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,448.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ink Bamboo von Xu Zonghao wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.600,00 (€ 422,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Zonghao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.448,04).
