A top price for Xu Zonghao - as previously expected
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy In Kaishu by Xu Zonghao. The price achieved of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,448.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy In Kaishu is the most expensive artwork by Xu Zonghao that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu von Xu Zonghao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.448,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Calligraphy In Kaishu das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xu Zonghao, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
