Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Under Heaven-2832Bd0152 by Xu Zhen was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 312,500.00 (€ 35,187.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xu Zhen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Under Heaven-2207FI1312, which sold at auction in April 2014 for CNY 810,000.00 (€ 93,439.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Under Heaven-2832Bd0152 von Xu Zhen wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 312.500,00 (€ 35.187,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Xu Zhen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Under Heaven-2207FI1312 beobachtet, die im April 2014 für CNY 810.000,00 (€ 93.439,08) versteigert wurde.
