Auction result well in line with expectations
The work UNDER HEAVEN - 2632JP1403 by Xu Zhen was sold in the FIRST OPEN | Shanghai: Living With Art auction at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. It changed hands for a price of CNY 312,000.00 (€ 40,026.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 150,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xu Zhen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Under Heaven-2207FI1312, which sold at auction in April 2014 for CNY 810,000.00 (€ 93,439.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit UNDER HEAVEN - 2632JP1403 von Xu Zhen wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai: Living With Art bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 312.000,00 (€ 40.026,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 150.000,00 – 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Xu Zhen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Under Heaven-2207FI1312 beobachtet, die im April 2014 für CNY 810.000,00 (€ 93.439,08) versteigert wurde.
