Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Light Source - The Gold of their Bodies by Xu Zhen was sold in the Let Loose: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 29 June - in July this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 152,400.00 (€ 17,729.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Xu Zhen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Under Heaven-2207FI1312 in April 2014 with an auction result of CNY 810,000.00 (€ 93,439.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Light Source - The Gold of their Bodies von Xu Zhen wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Let Loose: Online Auction bei Phillips in 29 June - versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 152.400,00 (€ 17.729,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Zhen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Under Heaven-2207FI1312 im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 810.000,00 (€ 93.439,08).
