Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Garden Series by Xu Hualing was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 37,760.00 (€ 4,155.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Hualing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Outside The Window 1 in October this year with an auction result of HKD 2,400,000.00 (€ 290,234.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Garden Series von Xu Hualing wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 37.760,00 (€ 4.155,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Hualing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Outside The Window 1 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.400.000,00 (€ 290.234,67).
