Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Aroma 2-7 by Xu Hualing. The price achieved of HKD 252,500.00 (€ 28,075.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Hualing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Outside The Window 1 in October this year with an auction result of HKD 2,400,000.00 (€ 290,234.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aroma 2-7 von Xu Hualing zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.500,00 (€ 28.075,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Hualing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Outside The Window 1 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.400.000,00 (€ 290.234,67).
