Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Between by Xu Hualing was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,892.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Hualing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Outside The Window 1 in October this year with an auction result of HKD 2,400,000.00 (€ 290,234.67).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Between von Xu Hualing wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.892,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Hualing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Outside The Window 1 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.400.000,00 (€ 290.234,67).
