Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flowers by Xiong Meiyi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 9,600.00 (€ 1,067.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiong Meiyi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 33,600.00 (€ 4,063.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Xiong Meiyi wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 9.600,00 (€ 1.067,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiong Meiyi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 33.600,00 (€ 4.063,29) versteigert wurde.
