Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art II, which included the work Rules Of The Game, Nos 2 & 3 by Xin Haizhou. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,090.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xin Haizhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rule of the Game No. 2 in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 775,000.00 (€ 89,575.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rules Of The Game, Nos 2 & 3 von Xin Haizhou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.090,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xin Haizhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rule of the Game No. 2 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 775.000,00 (€ 89.575,66).
