A top price for Xin Haizhou - as previously expected
The work Rule of the Game No. 2 by Xin Haizhou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 775,000.00 (€ 89,575.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Rule of the Game No. 2 is the most expensive artwork by Xin Haizhou that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Rule of the Game No. 2 von Xin Haizhou kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 775.000,00 (€ 89.575,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Rule of the Game No. 2 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xin Haizhou, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
