It achieved a price of HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,143.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xin Haizhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rule of the Game No. 2 in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 775,000.00 (€ 89,575.66).

Die Arbeit Magic Squares，Billiards & Sleeping Series No.1，No19 & No.27（Three Pieces）(Painted In 1996) von Xin Haizhou wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion The Schoeni Family Collection bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.143,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xin Haizhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rule of the Game No. 2 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 775.000,00 (€ 89.575,66).
