Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine by Xiao Xun was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,230.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Album in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 649,000.00 (€ 76,373.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine von Xiao Xun wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.230,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Album im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 649.000,00 (€ 76.373,84).
