The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,162.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Album in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 649,000.00 (€ 76,373.84).

Die Arbeit Landscape After Gong Xian von Xiao Xun kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.162,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Album im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 649.000,00 (€ 76.373,84).
