The work Pine Tree by Xiang Shengmo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The auction ended at the price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 114,449.73), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiang Shengmo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dreamin Of The Peach Pavillion in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 534,787.31).

Die Arbeit Pine Tree von Xiang Shengmo kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 114.449,73) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiang Shengmo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dreamin Of The Peach Pavillion im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 534.787,31).
