In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Pine Tree And Rock After Zhao Mengfu by Xiang Shengmo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 22,800.00 (€ 23,283.26), 52% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiang Shengmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dreamin Of The Peach Pavillion in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 534,787.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine Tree And Rock After Zhao Mengfu von Xiang Shengmo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 22.800,00 (€ 23.283,26) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiang Shengmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dreamin Of The Peach Pavillion im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 534.787,31).
