Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Xiang Shengmo was sold in the Important Chinese Classical Paintings: Property of the Ping Y Tai Foundation auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 23,169.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiang Shengmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dreamin Of The Peach Pavillion in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 534,787.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Xiang Shengmo wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Important Chinese Classical Paintings: Property of the Ping Y Tai Foundation bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 23.169,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiang Shengmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dreamin Of The Peach Pavillion im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 534.787,31).
