The work Landscape by Xiang Kui was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 82,600.00 (€ 9,649.88), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiang Kui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 188,800.00 (€ 23,006.54).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Xiang Kui wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 82.600,00 (€ 9.649,88) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiang Kui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 188.800,00 (€ 23.006,54) versteigert wurde.
