The work Magnificent Views Of Mount Huang by Xia Jingguan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,573.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Other works by Xia Jingguan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2012 the work Waterfall In The Ravine was auctioned for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,051.55).
