In May 2005 Christies in London held the auction THE IRISH SALE, which included the work Cattle Grazing Below A Ruined Castle On A Stormy Day by Wycliffe Egginton. Other works by Wycliffe Egginton have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,816.13) in May 2008 for the work Homeward Bound.
