Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Bamboo by Wu Zhen. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,750.00 (€ 14,503.65), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Zhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studio Among Streams And Mountains in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 792,500.00 (€ 740,792.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bamboo von Wu Zhen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 14.503,65) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Zhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studio Among Streams And Mountains im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 792.500,00 (€ 740.792,67).
